The digest
Antwanet Forbes, a successful PR executive and devoted single mother, has vanished from her Washington D.C. home, leaving behind a perplexing scene that has baffled investigators and devastated her family. Her disappearance, seemingly into thin air, has sparked an urgent plea for public assistance and shined a light on a disturbing history of domestic violence.
The Mysterious Disappearance
Forbes, a respected professional and single mother to her 10-year-old son, Nathan, was last seen on Labor Day weekend. Friends and family grew concerned when she missed a weekly family call, prompting them to check on her. What they found at her upscale D.C. home near American University was unsettling: her dog, car, phone, keys, and wallet were all still inside. This discovery immediately raised red flags, as those closest to Antwanet emphatically state she would never abandon her son or her dog, Max, nor would she leave without her essential belongings. The scene strongly suggests she did not leave voluntarily, ruling out a casual walkabout or a planned departure.
