Furthermore, Clancy had an alarmingly low body temperature of 82.1 degrees Fahrenheit, a critical state of hypothermia. The combination of these injuries, particularly the spinal trauma, raised immediate questions about how they occurred, as she was not involved in a car crash or any other obvious accident. The fluid coming from her nose was believed to be CSF fluid, spinal fluid. The medical team's assessment of her condition was crucial in the subsequent legal proceedings.
