Overcoming Negative Energies and Obstacles
One caller, Sonia Pandit, shares her struggles with persistent misfortune and financial instability. Gurudev reveals that her home is enveloped in negative energy due to black magic (tantra badha) that has been active for eight years, hindering her family's happiness and success. To counteract this, Gurudev prescribes a powerful ritual: on a Friday night, place a lemon with mustard oil and kajal (kohl) in each of the four corners of the house. These lemons should remain until Saturday night. Between 11 PM and 12 AM on Saturday, collect the lemons, burn them on a gas stove, and then mash the ashes with your right foot outside the main door. Dispose of the remnants in a garbage bin, declaring, "By Guruji's command, return from whence you came." This ritual should be performed for eight consecutive Saturdays. Additionally, every Saturday morning, after bathing, place a jatta nariyal (coconut with husk) adorned with kajal and a black thread at the puja sthan (prayer altar). Light a mustard oil lamp and, holding a pinch of yellow mustard seeds, chant "Om Bhairavaya Namostubhyam Namah" 11 times. Circulate the mustard seeds throughout the house and then add them to the lamp. In the evening, offer the coconut, a garland of roses, and eight black gulab jamuns to a Bhairav Ji temple. These practices are believed to remove negative influences and protect the home.
