She prepared for school, packed her signature polka-dotted black bag, and ensured her lanyard with keys and a panda bear charm was in place. Her mother, Celia, a single mom, rushed to get her to school before heading to her hosting job at a local casino. The only deviation from Mickie's routine was that her older sister, Christina, usually her ride home, was on vacation in Las Vegas with her boyfriend.
