His journey led to the establishment of Shanti Kshetra Premgiri Ashram, a place imbued with unique spiritual significance.
The Divine Selection of Premgiri Ashram
The search for a suitable location began around 2006-2007, aiming for a place where people could experience spiritual power and transformation. Many sites were considered, some even offered free of charge or at reduced rates, particularly near Mumbai. However, Maître Dada Shri had a specific vision, known only to him. The quest culminated in 2009 with the discovery of the current site in Karjat, found through an acquaintance.
Upon Maître Dada Shri's first visit to the site, a profound event occurred. His guru, Mahavatar Babaji, whose image is revered at the ashram and who is believed to have lived for over 5000 years in the Himalayas with three disciples, appeared to him. This vision confirmed that the land was sacred, a place of penance and spiritual energy, urging him to acquire it. Thus, this holy site, nestled at the foothills of Bhimashankar, far from the city's hustle, was chosen, and the foundation for Shanti Kshetra Premgiri Ashram was laid, dedicated to the welfare of all.
