But Shri Shri Mitra Jeev asks a crucial question: Do we truly experience God through these practices? Can we see, feel, and converse with the divine? He suggests that our human minds, limited by what they have heard and conceived, often confine God to a specific form or set of conditions. We create mental images and expectations, inadvertently limiting the boundless nature of the divine.
To illustrate this point, he draws a beautiful analogy with the moon. When we observe the moon daily, its apparent size and shape change, leading us to perceive it as waxing and waning. However, in reality, the moon's true form remains constant and complete. Similarly, God, in their absolute truth, is perfect and unchanging. It is our human perception, influenced by our limited understanding and interpretations, that creates varying images and definitions of the divine. The true essence of God, he emphasizes, is beyond these human constructs, and experiencing this truth is paramount.
