Trump's Weight Gain and the 'Fat Drug'
Donald Trump's weight has become a topic of discussion after a Washington Post headline revealed that "Doctors Say Trump's Weight Poses a Significant Health Risk." This comes after the White House previously had to refute speculation that Trump was on an experimental new weight-loss drug. Jon Favreau highlighted Trump's frequent use of the word "fat" to describe his political opponents and even friends, creating a supercut of Trump's various uses of the word. Lovett pointed out the irony, stating, "It turns out that Trump is not like reckless gay guys in West Hollywood buying compound versions of this drug from China." The hosts also discussed Trump's mugshot from his Georgia arrest, noting that he was listed as 6'3" and 215 lbs, a weight comparable to NFL legend John Elway's playing weight. This led to a humorous observation about Trump's current weight gain since his campaign, making him an "almost obese man" at 80 years old.
